Bringa

Bringa — abandoned in the late 19th century, was a farm located by the northern shore of the fjord. Today, the only remainders of the farm are some stone walls.

There is an old legend about the farmers at Bringa and Blomberg. It is said that while the farmer of Blomberg, Sølfest, was so tired of the hard walk up from the fjord, the Bringa farmer Peder was tired of living in constant fear of rock falls. Their dilemma was solved one evening in 1849, when the two farmers simply decided to switch farms. Peder moved to Blomberg, while Sølfest took over Bringa.
