Geirangerfjord Safari
Experience one and a half-hour exploration of Geirangerfjord. Waterfalls and mountains are examined at close range from open boats.
Geirangerfjorden is a 15 kilometer long arm of the Storfjord, located at Sunnmøre in the North-Western part of Norway. The Geirangerfjord is among the most frequent visited destinations in Norway. In June, 2005, the area was included on the UNESCOs World Heritage list, along with the Nærøyfjord area in Sogn. The combination of dramatic landscapes, a friendly climate and a well preserved cultural landscape makes these fjords something special. In 2006, the National Geographic Magazine described the two Norwegian fjords as the best preserved of the UNESCO World Heritage sites.
