Coastal Safari
A unique combination of sea and history! Are you interested in untouched nature, coastal culture or life on the water? This trip will take you in a westerly direction, to where the sea meets the mountains. We will pass 1500 islets and skerries between Fensfjord in the south and Sognefjord in the north.
You will be told stories from the beautiful archipelago, we will visit the 1000 year old Gulating (legislative assembly) and we will learn about the history of Skjerjehamn. We use RIB style boats that will live up to your high standards of safety and comfort. This is the best of West Norway and we guarantee you a memorable trip. Remember to bring your camera!
We visit the following places: Skjerjehamn, Mongstad, Byrknesøy, Grima, Koksøy, Kvernøy, Hille, Eivindvik and Flolid. Here is at detailed overview of the route.
Coastal Safari is a regular round trip on Sognesjøen and takes place every Saturday from 31st of May till 1st of September at 10:00 from Sandalskaia, Eivindvik, return at 13:00. We will travel at 13:00 and 16:00 at request. Subject to weather. Weather forceast.
